L’Ordre Martiniste, or The Martinist Order in English, follows the footsteps and teachings of Louis Claude de Saint Martin, as well as the initiatory organization founded in 1887, by Dr. Gérard Encausse known also by his esoteric name, “Papus”. The Martinist Order creates the necessary conditions to support and nurture Spiritual Seekers. The spiritual path is often difficult and lonely. This solitude is incumbent on every spiritual seeker because the “unfolding of being” or awakening is always personal and therefore singular. No one can walk the path for you, but we can walk with you. For this, the Martinist approach proposes group discourse, offers times and collective spaces to share and alleviate this impression of solitude inherent to the spirituality of the individual. These are educational activities. Within a Group, intellectual, philosophical, esoteric, comparative religion and mystical research is fostered by fraternal exchanges when we approach Knowledge from different points of view. The Martinist builds their knowledge while respecting the opinions of others.
They learn to give and to receive.
