- NEW: Manual Account Creation
- Due to ongoing spam attacks, users will not be able to create their own accounts for the foreseeable future
- However, The Archivist can now manually create account for users!
- Please fill out this simple form to get started
- The form will require a valid email address, a desired username, and you can optionally add your real name. This information will be used to create an account for this website for you. You will, once the account is created, receive an email with your temporary password. Please then log in to your new account and change your password to one you will remember.

- Account Creation Temporarily Disabled
- Users are temporarily unable to create new user accounts on this wiki
- Should not effect any existing accounts
- The spam we're getting hit with is getting out of control, so we're taking this temporary measure while we figure out better security options (and while we clean everything up!). Thank you for your patience!

- 64 Spam Accounts have been blocked
- We got hit with a spam attack! Nothing serious- just 64 very similar usernames joining at once and many of them adding similar user pages with external links.
- All have been blocked and deleted and they made no other changes to the wiki
- How You Can Help:
- When you join the website, create a user page with any sort of unique information that makes it clear you're a real person. (outside links are fine, if they aren't spam)

- Guerrilla Library Planning Continues
- We currently have over 116 objects available for lending with more on the way (mostly books, some card decks, board "games")
- The Library of Congress Classification System (LCC) was chosen to catalog this collection
- This system is more complex than the Dewey Decimal System (DDC) but it allows for greater specificity in cataloging, which, in a specific collection like this one, may be helpful as the collection grows
- View the current list of objects here
- In order to borrow books and objects once in the future, use this link to become a member. It's free and once you've registered you'll be able to pick up and drop off books by appointment

- Planning for the brick-and-mortar archive is underway
- The guerrilla library will operate out of The Archivist's apartment (by appointment, curbside pickup)
- More info here -> Visit the Archive
- Current physical book selection here -> Physical Books

- Many books have been added in 2023 already, but here are some notable one:
- 21 books related to Mormonism
- 7 books related to Millerism/Millerites
- 10 books related to The Roycrofters
- 87 total books related to Spiritualism
- 771 books in total as of January 28 2023

- Currently working on a way to count actual objects in the archive. "Articles" and "Pages" don't work because of complicated MediaWiki reasons.
- As of this moment, there are 740 objects (books) in the archive.
- The old website boasts 731 books. When we moved to this wiki, I removed lots of material that was not appropriate for this wiki for one reason or another, probably over 100 in total. I've also added tons of new books to the wiki since it's inception, and taking that all into account, knowing that we currently have 740 objects is thrilling to me :)
- I can find that count manually, but figuring out how to display that count automatically on the homepage is the issue I'm working on. The number at the top of the homepage currently shows the total number of "articles," which at the moment, is slightly higher than the number of actual objects.

- MediaWiki InstantCommons have been enabled on this site. This means that millions of files that are in the public domain (or are able to be used with a creative commons license) are now available to be used on this website.
- Click the link above to visit the Commons, find a file you want to use, and then click on "use this file." You will be presented with a line of code you can copy and paste directly onto a page you are editing here.
- This means that you can search the commons for something like "Spiritualism" or "Rosicrucian" and find tons and tons of photos you can use to make this archive more informative and exciting.

- As of 03/12/2022 this website has been updated to its new and current domain. However, you may see "not secure" next to the address in your browser. We are working to update the TLS certificates, but we're also noobs so it might take a minute. The Archivist (talk) 17:03, 4 December 2022 (UTC)
- TLS (https) is now working. It was configured manually and we will need to write a script to keep it automatically updated. Rest assured, however, that this is the website it says it is :)
